RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan 11 (SW) - The 39 year old Romario is about to start a third stint at Vasco da Gama. The former international has come to a personal agreement with the club.
The forward, who started his playing career at Vasco, is set to play in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro during the first half year. He is expected to wear shirt number 11; that number was withdrawn by the club after his last departure in 2002.
Romario appeared at the presentation of striker Allann Delon on Tuesday morning. Both the player and Vasco da Gama remained silent about the matter.
