Kleberson On Top of Werder Bremen's Xmas List
German outfit Werder Bremen are eyeing up a possible Christmas swoop for unsettled United midfielder Kleberson when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The Brazilian international has failed to make the impact many had hoped since making a £6 million move from Paranaense to Old Trafford during the pre-season of the 2003/2004 season, and reports suggest Kleberson could exit The Premiership only one and a half years after making the move to Lancashire.
With his chances of him retaining a regular place in the Brazil squad fading, the World Cup Winner is believed to be interested in moving abroad.
However, whether Sir Alex Ferguson would be willing to count his losses on Kleberson only 12 months after signing him is in question. It is fair to say the South American has failed to make an impact in England so far, but several foreign players have had a tough time settling in and the out-of-favour midfielder has also been hampered with injuries during his opening season.
An array of clubs are believed to be expressing interest in signing Kleberson should United be willing to offload the player so quickly. Werder Bremen have shown the most interest.
